Culture - The Leela Palace Jaipur

Culture

When it comes to culture and vibrancy, there really is no place like Jaipur. The destination is commonly regarded as ‘The Pink City’ due to the abundance of the colour seen throughout the city’s architecture. With palatial architecture and colourful markets dotted with sprightly textiles and ‘juttis’- it is only natural to be awed by the city and keep coming back to it. Experience majestic street plays and performances and taste the varied flavours of Rajasthani classics like Dal Bati Churma and Ghevar made by our astounding chefs. The Leela Palace Jaipur ensures that your stay in the city is not just exciting, but also opulent.

Temple Ritual - The Leela Palace Jaipur

    Temple Ritual

The Leela Palace Jaipur houses an exquisite temple devoted to the deity Maa Durga. The temple's structural design is inspired by a very famous and sought-after temple in Amer Fort. If one observes closely, one will notice that each of the Jharokha on the door of the temple depicts nine different avatars of the Goddess. The temple is made from pure silver with a glorious idol of the deity. A dedicated priest performs pooja (prayer) and offering twice every day in the morning and evening.
