    Join our Art Curator on a guided tour of the palace’s art collection, an eclectic assemblage of modern and contemporary works where diverse styles and subjects embody Indian creativity and expression. Spot the works of acclaimed Indian artists such as Satish Gujral, Pradosh Das Gupta, Paresh Maity, Jayashree Burman, Sanjay Bhattacharya, Satish Gupta and Laxma Goud. Lining the corridors and enlightening the corners are also works of embroidery by J.J Valaya as well as traditionally crafted objects in glass, glittering silver, and inlaid mother of pearl by master craftsmen from Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and Bidar, Karnataka.

    On the walls of the central courtyard is a large golden mosaic that depicts the blossoming of a lotus bud into a flower by Satish Gupta. The guestrooms and suites feature limited-edition, numbered lithographs by award-winning photographer, Rohan Shreshta. Embedded with gold leaf and semi-precious stones, these lithographs depict Indian kings and queens in their regal attire.

    The Sultanate Walk
