World Travel Awards honours The Leela Palace, Kempinski Bangalore as the "Leading Business Hotel of India", 2007

Brand Leela was the star at the regional World Travel Awards (WTA) ceremony held for the first time in India at The Leela Palace, Kempinski Bangalore. Playing the gracious host to the Oscars of the Travel Industry, The Leela Palace, Kempinski Bangalore was crowned as “The Leading Business Hotel of India”.

The achievement is yet another milestone for the hotel which is basking in the international limelight after being voted by 30,000 discerning readers of the Conde Nast magazine as the “World’s No.1 Business Hotel “, 2007.The hotel topped the poll with a score of 90.5% in the readers’ survey and was judged on services, facilities, value for money and overall satisfaction.

The Leela Palace, Kempinski Bangalore has also been declared by Forbes as one among the ten hottest wedding destinations in the world, 2007 while its signature Indian restaurant, Jamavar features in the Forbes list of top ten power dining spots in the world, 2007.
