A practical but refreshingly new interactive channel

The internet is touching every corner of your lives in more ways than one. It’s a medium of communication, education, promotion and a channel for host of other initiatives.

To truly capture the spirit of its world class hospitality, The Leela Palaces – Hotels -Resorts is launching a refreshingly new website which will seek to reflect the glory and splendor of Leela properties and the destinations where they are located. It will not just be an information capsule but virtually a walk through of The Leela hotels, its services, amenities, different features etc.

Developed by HTMT Interactive, an arm of Hinduja TMT, the new Leela website – www.theleela.com is lush, welcoming and pleasing to the eye.

On the home page, we’ve divided matters into very simple links for guests’ navigation

• Offers - based on Stay, Dining, Spa, Business and Packages
• Business Services – Packages, Custom Conferences and Facilities
• Relaxations and Rejuvenations – Spas (at all 4 hotels), Specials and Spa Speak (FAQs)

Our brief to HTMTi was simple – to give us a website that reflected the new face of India, yet stayed true to our founding philosophy of “The Essence of India”. And we’re glad to say, they’ve done just that.

On the new site, we’ve perfectly segregated all our hotels, services and offers into easy-to-find sections that are equally easy to navigate.

With stunning interactive picture galleries for every hotel, as well as an impressive visual as part of the design template of each and every page, visitors to theleela.com are already commenting on how “15 minutes on the website feels like 15 minutes at the hotel.”

But perhaps the thing we’re most proud of on the new website is “Live The Leela” – a path-breaking interactive section that will go fully operational and live soon. Quite uniquely, this is where happy guests can share their memorable experience of Life at the Leela with fellow guests, both now and tomorrow. From showing pictures of a child's first lap of the pool, to recommending a dish not on a menu or sharing a secret view from one of our hotels, we'd like guests to go ahead... and live the Leela.

And the Leela won’t hold back from sharing either – so you can expect our star chefs to share closely guarded secrets with an eager world.
