Kerala, also known as God’s Own Country, hosts a spectrum of natural beauty; backwaters, mountains, wildlife and beaches. A “local experience” at The Leela Kovalam would entail a leisurely backwater cruise on the Ashtamudi (meaning 8 fingers) lake. Members can watch the colourful kingfishers fly along and enjoy a traditional Kerala lunch “Sadhya” served on a banana leaf.
Members can take an hour long journey into the mid sea on a locally made catamaran, pull up their sleeves and learn the art of fishing. The catch of the day can be specially prepared by our chefs as your next meal.
