The world-renowned ESPA at The Leela Palace Chennai draws inspiration from India’s glorious traditional heritage, with the added benefits and comforts of contemporary styled spa rooms and advanced rejuvenation techniques. Designed by Jeffery Wilkes of Design Wilkes, Malaysia, the two-level spa is a soothing retreat of natural wood, hand carved stone and soft furnishings. Spanning over 13,000 square feet, the spa features separate relaxation areas, sauna and steam rooms for male and female guests, nine treatment rooms, a spa suite for couples, a relaxation room for women. An array of signature treatments offered by ESPA at The Leela Palace Chennai fuse the latest scientific research in European wellness with therapies from Ayurveda, which help harmonize the body, mind and soul. Also, a selection of treatments have been created especially for men, such as the 90-minute Stress Buster - ideal for tired road warriors - which includes skin brushing, exfoliation, body massage with hot stones, followed by a scalp massage and gentle stretching.
