My Dear Krishnan,
We are now back in Germany, but the spell and the magic of India have not left us. We have experienced so many impressions, each of them overwhelming.

First of all, I have to thank you warmly for your very generous hospitality which was really marvellous, and it made me wonder if I really deserve it. Again a million thanks! In all your hotels we received an outstanding service. Everyone was most friendly, efficient, eager to serve, and it is not too much to state that they all gave the impression that they are proud and happy to serve.

I think I will have a chance to give you my comments (all of them postive) in more detail. At this moment my overall comment on the quality of the two hotels visited is the following: Should anybody ever try to persuade me that these two hotels (together with The Leela Kempinski Mumbai) do not belong into the group of the fifteen best hotels in the world I will call him an outright liar.
