Celebrations rule the Leela Group with its flagship hotel, The Leela Palace, Kempinski Bangalore featuring in the coveted Condé Nast Gold List 2008. The list which features the crème de la crème players of the hospitality industry lists the young hotel in the Best Rooms' category.

Condé Nast describes the spacious contemporary rooms furnished in cream & beige as the hotel's X factor. The new 105 rooms, furnished at an investment of over $10 million are 52 sq.m; making them the largest & the best business rooms in the country. Occupying five floors, these rooms are a treat for the corporate travellers with Wi-Fi connectivity, 42'' Plasma screens, ergonomically designed work desk, stylish furnishings & marble bathrooms.

The year has been a master stroke for the hotel which has been setting new benchmarks in service excellence right from its inception. Forbes has ranked its Indian restaurant 'Jamavar' in the top Ten Power Dining Spots in the world while this year the hotel was chosen as the "World's No.1 Business Hotel" by 30,000 discerning readers of Condé Nast Traveller magazine. The hotel was also chosen as the "Best Business Hotel in India" at the regional World Tourism Awards (WTA), 2007.
