Capt. C. P. Krishnan Nair honoured with the maiden Lifetime Achievement Award instituted by the World Travel Awards 2007.

Glamour, joy and excitement characterized the regional World Travel Awards (WTA) Ceremony at The Leela Palace Kempinski in Bangalore, India, where the winners of the Asia, Australasia & Indian Ocean Awards were announced. It was indeed a big day for The Leela Palace at Bangalore. They were not only the gracious hosts but also the beneficiary of three of the most prestigious awards.

• ‘The Lifetime Achievement Award’ - The most striking award, announced for the first time in the world by WTA, was conferred to the Hon. Chairman of The Leela Group of Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, Capt. C. P. Krishnan Nair for his unparalleled contribution to the Hospitality Industry.

Capt.
